In a very good news for current employees, pensioners and future job aspirants of Govt of India, the official notification for implementation of much awaited 7th pay commission is issued by the Govt of India on 26 July 2016. Most of the recommendations of 7th pay commission were earlier approved in the cabinet meeting on 29 June 2016 and since then all the concerned people/employees and others were keenly waiting for the official notification. You must know that only after coming of official notification that recommendations of 7th pay commission can be implemented. Changes or increase in the salaries of various SSC CGL posts after implementation of 7th pay commission

After implementation of 7th pay commission, there is a pay matrix according to which salary will be decided for any central govt post. Most important points of 7th pay commission recommendations

You would know more about benefits and changes of 7th pay commission with time but here we would try and give you insights into major benefits you can get from implementation of 7th pay commission (that’s if you are working in Govt of India :-p).

1. Basic salary has been decided by multiplying the 6th pay commission basic salary + Grade pay with 2.57.

2. Decision regarding to changes or increase in various allowances like HRA, DA etc would be taken by a separate committee which is expected to submit its’ report within 4 months.

3. Increment rate of 3% has been retained. Also, two date of increment has been introduced, 1st of January and 1st of June (Any one of them according to eligibility)

4. Recommendation in changes of CGEGIS (Central Government Employees Group Insurance Scheme) has not been accepted and the same rate of deductions will remain until any other change happen.

5. Minimum basic salary will be 18,000 Rs and maximum basic salary will be 2,50,000 Rs in 7th pay commission.
